Group SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant

*Job Summary:*
We are looking for a skilled SAP MM Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting the SAP MM module to optimize procurement, inventory management, and material planning processes. The SAP MM Consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, design solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of SAP MM projects.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Implementation and Configuration:
– Lead and participate in the implementation of the SAP MM module, including procurement, inventory management, material requirements planning, and vendor evaluation.
– Configure and customize SAP MM functionalities to align with business processes and requirements.
– Define and document functional specifications for custom developments, reports, and interfaces.
- Business Process Analysis:
– Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze procurement, inventory, and material management processes.
– Identify gaps between current processes and SAP MM capabilities and propose effective solutions.
– Conduct workshops and training sessions to gather requirements and demonstrate system functionality.
- System Integration:
– Ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, PP, FICO, WM) and external systems.
– Design and implement interfaces, data migration strategies, and data conversion processes.
- Support and Maintenance:
– Provide ongoing support for SAP MM modules, including troubleshooting, resolving issues, and performing system enhancements.
– Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to optimize procurement and inventory processes.
– Conduct regular system audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
- Project Management:
– Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
– Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions.
– Prepare project documentation, including functional specifications, test scripts, and user manuals.
- Training and Knowledge Transfer
– Train end-users and key stakeholders on SAP MM functionalities and best practices.
– Provide knowledge transfer to internal teams to ensure sustainable support and maintenance.
- Reporting and Analytics
– Develop and maintain procurement and inventory reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making.
– Ensure compliance with procurement policies, inventory controls, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an SAP MM Consultant, with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.
– In-depth knowledge of SAP MM modules, including procurement, inventory management, and material planning.
– Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
– Proficiency in SAP MM configuration, customization, and support.
– Experience with SAP S/4HANA and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, PP, FICO) is a plus.
– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
– SAP MM certification is preferred.
